We would always describe Byrdir as a Bed and Breakfast

Do you accept Credit or Debit Cards

No, at the moment we only accept cash or a cheque with the relevant card. Until the cost of credit or debit transaction come down to a reasonable level we wont take them because they would increase the cost of the rooms

Do you provide evening meals

A

No. We only provide breakfast. However there are two First Class restaurants in Harlech, as well as a number of other options

What time can we check in

A

We try to have the rooms ready by 2:00pm, you are always welcome to drop your bags off at anytime after 10:30am, just let us know approximately what time you will be arriving. We prefer people to collect their keys before 9:00pm.

What time do I have to check out

A

We ask people to vacate the rooms by 10:30 at the latest

What time is breakfast

A

Normally between 8:00am and 9:00am, we are happy to provide an earlier start if required but we do need to know the day before and if it is very early there may be a restricted menu

Can I have a later breakfast

A

Unfortunately no, in order to service the rooms by a reasonable time for that days guests we have to clear the breakfast room by 10:00am

Is there access for a Wheelchair

A

Unfortunately no, because of the age and nature of the building all the bedrooms are on the first or second floors and the age of the building prevents installation of a suitable lift

We would strongly recommend any visitors to the area that require accommodation with wheelchair access consider Estuary Lodge 01766 771155 who have excellent facilities

On foot about two minutes

Do you have family rooms

A

Rooms 1,2 and 5 have a double bed and a single bed, in two of the rooms there is just about enough room to put a "Put me up bed" in. However this restricts movement in the room.
